i have a 2000 silverado LT. last year the heated mirrors quit working for me although the rear window defogger still works (they both work off the same circuit/fuse block...). Has anyone else had this problem and how did you go about fixing this.
thank you

I have had the same experience with my 2001 Silverado. I think they are a high failure rate item. The dealer replaced the entire mirror while the truck was still under warranty and I replaced just the glass after the warranty ran out.
Good luck.
Good luck.

no idea about your problem but wtf do you need a heated mirror for?
does it have to do with snow or something?

Heated mirrors clears the the frost and condensation off of them. It's pretty humid in the part of the contry where I live and the mirrors will fog while I'm driving in to work in the morning.
